1. Apply for a merchant account

In order to process credit cards, you'll need to be approved for an account. The application should only take ten minutes to complete. Before starting the application, here are some items to have ready:

• A valid license/ID
• A blank check

After submitting your application, you'll receive an email from 'Cardservice International' within 24-48 hours prompting you to follow a link to finish your application. This step is for security purposes and should only take a couple of minutes. After that, you're done.

2. Log into myROAM

After submitting the application, you can log into myROAM to check the status of your account. myROAM is ROAM's account management page. Located inside myROAM is your web virtual terminal, training materials, transactional data, and more.

It takes only 24-48 hours after your application has been submitted to get approved for your very own merchant account. Once approved, you can start processing credit card transactions right away.

3. Process credit cards

You can process credit cards using your computer. If you've signed up for Mobile Access, you can enjoy the flexibility of processing credit cards from your cell phone also. Your mobile virtual terminal goes with you where ever you go. Both methods have password-protected entries so you can trust that your data is safe.
