High-level of Security

With so much Mobile payment experience floating around here at ROAM, it's only natural that we employ the highest-level security protocol on our ROAM applications.

The ROAM Player only communicates with a single ROAM Server. Unlike a browser (which can direct itself anywhere on the web), the ROAM Player’s web access is always mediated by this ROAM Server—which only permits it to connect to Web Services (SOA) specifically designated for that application. The server also keeps an audit trail of all network activity.

All transport-level (network) activity is strongly-encrypted (currently with support for triple-DES and AES). All data saved locally is encrypted. All device activity can be traced to a single provisioned device.
